CABERNET BARBECUE SAUCE

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1-1/4 cups dry red wine, such as Cabernet Sauvignon
  2. 1/2 cup ketchup
  3. 1/2 cup beer
  4. 1/4 cup molasses
  5. 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  6. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  7. 1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
  8. 1 teaspoon chili powder

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CABERNET BARBECUE SAUCE

  1. Whisk together all ingredients in medium saucepan; bring to boil.  Reduce heat and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until reduced to 1 cup, stirring occasionally.
