Meet Massachusetts farmer: Samantha staebner

Just one hour west of Boston, Samantha Staebner’s family is focused on sustainably keeping agriculture alive and well at Whittier Farms. Farming 500 acres, Whittier Farms has diversified over five generations to a beef, dairy, and vegetable farm with a year-round farm store. In addition to sales of individual beef cuts, the farm store specializes in farm-to-table homemade meals, such as meatballs and beef stew, featuring their beef, seasonal vegetables and Cabot Dairy products. Despite the dairy roots of the Whittier Farms family, raising high-quality beef has become an integral part of keeping agriculture alive and well for generations to come in Massachusetts.
