Meet Delaware Farmers: Chris and Karen Breeding

Meet Delaware cattle farmers, Chris, Karen and their daughter Quinn Breeding of Tomahawk Cattle Company. The Breeding family is 3rd and 4th generation cattle farmers. They take pride in continuing a legacy of cattle farming on the family's Century Farm. The Breeding’s pride themselves in producing high quality beef from farm to table, while maintaining a cow herd, producing grains, and offering quality freezer beef for their family and customers. The Breeding’s strive to produce their beef using sustainable agriculture practices and good environmental stewardship by implementing no-till crop production, the use of cover crops, rotational grazing, and nutrient management best practices.
